Pender County partners with several local volunteer and municipal Fire Departments to ensure adequate fire coverage is available throughout the county. Those stations are:

Pender County Firefighters Association
- All Departments within the county are members of the Pender County Firefighters Association, governed by the Pender County Fire Commission.
- The Pender County Firefighters Association hosts a weekend Public Safety College yearly. This training weekend provides valuable training for firefighters from across the state.
